Don Ranow was born and raised in Macon and graduated from Central High School in 1991. He is an alumni of the Sugarbear Band under the direction of the late Bob Barnette. He had the honor of serving as Drum Major during his senior year which brought him out of his ‘reserved’ shell and it taught him how to lead and yell.
